Audience Feedback for Draft 1

The audience gave our group feedback for our draft 1 (Music videos and ancillaries) and said positive comments and gave us constructive criticism that we can use to make  our music videos and ancillaries more appealing to our intended audience.

What Went Well?

  • The Idea of showing the different events throughout the year is a good indication to time passing by. (Steven)
  • The humorous 'Netflix & Chill' scene at the end of the music video. (Laurie)
  • The effective use of Mise-en -Scene to show different events. (Joshua)
  • The locations used fit the style of the video and gave off a happy feel. (Luke)

Even Better if?

  • We had a better way to show time progressing in their relationship. (Steven)
  • Not to have the lip-syncing in the narrative because it disrupts the lip-syncing. (Laurie)
  • Need to have more scenes and events that show a relationship (Joshua)
  • The introduction was shorter (Luke)

What can we do to improve?

  • We can use a Board with a callendar on it getting more filled up with photos over time to help join all the events. (Steven)
  • Separate the performance & the narrative by having a separate base track that has the performance alongside the narrative. (Laurie)
  • We need to do more events that a couple would do, as well as changing the order to create a more natural flow. So not have Christmas as one of the first events (Joshua)
  • The editing can be sped up to make the shots shorter in turn making the video flow better (Luke)
